I've got a client who has produced a booklet in Word. Beautifully done too, then written to pdf. The only fly in the ointment is the absence of crop or printer's marks.
As the document uses all sorts of custom fonts and formatting I really don't want to re-create it from scratch. Is there any way to add crop marks to a pdf file?
Cheers and many thanks.

I've never done it with such a large multipage document, but maybe you could open it in Illustrator and add them there?

InDesign has the option of adding crop marks when exporting to PDF, so i guess you could open it there and export it once more.

Or you could place the PDF in an InDesign document, add crop marks as you wish, and export it to PDF one more time. This might get better results than opening the Word document in InDesign and relying on its inconsistent Word import.
But perhaps that's what andersbk was suggesting, I'm not sure.

In Acrobat 6, you can print with crops on. I think it under advanced. sometimes, we print this way back to postscript if the RIP accepts postscript or even re-distill the postscript. Otherwise, just go to page setup in acro 6, choose/make an oversized page. Print, go to the advanced tab (i don't have it here at home) turn on the crops and print to your printer.
