Shes been my favorite female artist since i heard her music in Magnolia. This album sounds very 'Aimee Mann' in that it's similar to her previous works in a good way.
Although i'm half a world away right now, i couldn't help but get the feeling/imagery of 'California' while listening to this album, sorta like those old Roy Orbison tunes (they dont sound alike). Great album for a warm summer evening. If you want to sample it, give 'The Great Beyond' a listen.
