Does anyone know how to force menu bar icons to show up in a particular order? In particular I'm looking to get Launchbar to be the right-most icon in the menu bar. With many icons, I can Command+click+drag them to the desired spot, but Launchbar won't allow that.

Rearranging the order the apps are launched upon login also fails to do the trick.

In 10.2 Launchbar was always the right-most icon.

Thanks in advance,
Jason

launchbar is a menu bar application rather than a menu bar extra. AFAIK you can rearrange menu bar applications.

Oh ok - that makes more sense.

But that doesn't explain why Launchbar was always the right-most app in Jaguar.

Some depend on the order of startup... Some have prefs to change the poisson, and some just always in one place.

you know reading the actual post would probably help me, hehe.

hmm, right-most makes little sense...unless what it was doing was relauching the menu bar after it launched itself...not sure really. menu bar apps have always appeared to the left of the menu items that were already there.

Yeah, but it's not terrible. I'm just accustomed to mousing over the far-right upper corner to access Launchbar. I guess I'll just have to get used to moving over a bit.

I don't use Launchbar's icon. Command-spacebar is much faster, in my opinion.

but it would be much nicer to be able to move them.

i'm using wclock, instead of the clock inbuilt, and i have to say, while it's pretty good, it's still not as nice as pth clock's dragability on jaguar. i really miss that ease of re-arrangement.

oh well, but it's not an oh well i should have had to utter, imho.

pc.

Why don't you go get pht clock, Unsanity's Menu Extra Enabler, then find the actual .menu for pht clock in the application bundle and keep using it?
