What happens when you click on it? ctrl-click? Mouse-over?

That looks like the icon for Quicken. Why it's there I have no idea.

Try to delete Finder/LaunchServices cache, in Terminal enter these commands, and see if it helps :
sudo rm -f /Library/Caches/com.apple.LaunchServices.*
killall Finder

The Panther Finder often gets confused with icons. Just relaunching it helps for me. No need to delete any cache file.
