My 15" Alu Powerbook has lost of what appear to be little pits where the aluminum looks like it has disintegrated. It's still under warranty. Anyone else have this problem? Will Apple fix it? I know it's cosmetic but I hope to sell this someday.

It's a known problem, and "Me too." (The right side)

I haven't investigated whether or not it is covered, but I'm sure a forum search would help there. (Or a call to Apple?!?!)

This could be related to levels of skin acidity, which means not only do you have to get your PowerBook fixed but also check your health and change your diet. You've got two machines to worry about.

Thanks, I'm working on the body part. I'd like to get BOTH fixed.

just bring it in and say that the trackpad is acting erratic intermittantly (intermittant is the key word then if they can't reproduce the problem, no biggie.)

They'll replace the whole top case including the area surrounding the keyboard and trackpad.
