Well, since nobody else has posted in the thread, sure. Maybe just rearrange the order of the tracks a bit.

I made this a few months ago for a former girlfriend. There isn't any kind of overarching "theme" to it other than aurally/sonically. I spent a lot of time playing with song sequence so there would be interesting transitions between the songs and an overall flow to the sound of the music as it was heard.

Debauchery - David Gray (A Century Ends)
The Greatest - Cat Power (The Greatest)
Pablo Picasso - Citizen Cope (The Clarence Greenwood Recordings)
Pillar Of Davidson - Live (Throwing Copper)
Perfect Day - Lou Reed (Transformer)
Tsunami - Manic Street Preachers (Forever Delayed)
Sexy Back - Justin Timberlake (FutureSex/LoveSounds)
Delicate - Damien Rice (O)
To The Ages - The Farm (Hullabaloo)
Atomic - Blondie (Best Of Blondie)
Andalucia - Pink Martini (Sympathique)
The Rip - Portishead (Third)
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy - Cannonball Adderley (Mercy, Mercy, Mercy!)
Given To Fly - Pearl Jam (Live On Two Legs)
Romeo And Juliet - Indigo Girls (Rites Of Passage)
The Clockwise Witness - DeVotchKa (A Mad And Faithful Telling)
Tomorrow - James (The Best Of James)
New York State Of Mind - Billy Joel (Greatest Hits Volume I & II)
San Diego Serenade - Nanci Griffith (Late Night Grande Hotel)
Black Boys On Mopeds - Sinéad O'Connor (I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got)
Corcovado (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars) - Stan Getz (The Best of the Verve Years, Vol. 2)
There's A Reason - A.A. Bondy (American Hearts)
Helplessly Hoping - Crosby, Stills & Nash (Greatest Hits)
Sunday Morning Coming Down - Johnny Cash (The Essential Johnny Cash)
Kindness - Toshi Reagon (Kindness)
Into The Great Wide Open - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (Greatest Hits)
Cap In Hand - The Proclaimers (Sunshine On Leith)
New World - DeVotchKa (A Mad And Faithful Telling)
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi - Radiohead (In Rainbows)
Blonde On Blonde - Nada Surf (Let Go)
A Widow's Toast - Neko Case (Fox Confessor Brings The Flood)
Indefinable - Essie Jain (We Made This Ourselves)

Off-Topic: Anyone know of a tool or plug-in for easily exporting playlists from iTunes. Just using the built-in functionality exports the value for every single freakin' field in the MP3 file specification. I want something that will export *just* the fields I have displayed in any given playlist.

copy and paste the song list info into word. then highlight it all, and press and then make a new row on top for each section of the list.
It should look like this (I bolded the column names)

I don't know if that's exactly what you're looking for, but this is how I do it.

Set your View options in iTunes to the columns you'd like to "export" then Select all - Copy - Paste into a text editor. It comes out as tab delimited, but you can do whatever you like to it after that, of course.

dcmacdaddy: your PM box is full

I'd start off with "... until we felt red" and then "dreaming of revenge." They're the two albums of hers that I've heard that immediately jumped into my head.

Thanks to zro for the tip on creating an easily exportable playlist.

Here is the latest mix I am working on. It is called Crescendo and I feel that every song has a nice build-up (i.e.: crescendo) in the way it sounds. (I think "Bolero" is the only song officially keyed (?) to have a crescendo in it but I like the way the others have this nice build-up of tempo in them, sometimes fast or sometimes slow). The first five songs, up to "Bolero", are in order for the way I want the mix to sound. The others are in there but need to be spaced out among other songs as add them to the mix. This is my up-tempo, I'm psyched/happy mix. I think it will be great to have blaring when I am doing a mad house-cleaning or cooking dinner for a date. I'll update the list when it is complete. Enjoy!

Untitled 3 - Sigur Rós ( )*
Kid Fears - Indigo Girls (Indigo Girls)
Forever Is Tomorrow Is Today - David Gray (Sell Sell Sell)
The Clockwise Witness - DeVotchKa (A Mad And Faithful Telling)
Bolero - Pink Martini (Sympathique)
Tomorrow - James (The Best Of James)
Andalucia - Pink Martini (Sympathique)
Out To Get You - James (The Best Of James)

*Yes, the title to that album is a set of parenthesis.
