Is there a way to display my To Do list from iCal on my iPhone. I can't find it, nor can I find an App that would do it for me.

I would love to see this too. I have tried to work out whether it is there but I think they forgot about To Do's. Maybe they will add it in an update if we send feedback.
I think it's strange that it's missing. They made a big deal about the fact that syncing To Do's was a feature of 10.5, then forgot to sync them into iPhone.

There's an entry in the iphone's mail for "Apple Mail To Do," but if I enter a To Do in mobileme or iCal, it doesn't seem to make anything happen on the phone.

Nope, a year after launch, Apple still hasn't build To Do support into the bloody iPhone. Who knows if it will ever...
Of course, with the App store, you can find about 5-6 To Do apps, but none of them easily and seamlessly synch to iCal.
What a mess...

That's disappointing, because I use the hell out of that to-do list.

I really don't get it. Aren't Apple's to-dos just emails? Why can't they sync just like your mail?
