I had to start a new thread because I couldn't figure out how to lower my price in the subject heading of the older thread. In any case, my PowerBook G4 is still available and has an even lower price

This particular G4 PowerBook is in excellent condition and features a 15.2" active matrix screen, 256MB of RAM, a 10GB hard drive and a DVD drive. This unit is running Jaguar 10.2.3 and also includes the usual firewire, USB, gigabit ethernet, PC card slot, VGA and modem ports found on Rev. A PowerBook G4s. This PowerBook also comes with the original box, CDs and documentation.

As I mentioned earlier, for a PowerBook of its age it really is in excellent condition. It still has its original rubber feet and has only a few minor scuffs and scratches. Price reduced to $975. I'll include an airport card for an additional $25 to the buyer. I'd prefer a local buyer in Sacramento or Northern California. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected]

This is a great price. I am surprised no one is snatching this up.

Why should you be so surprised? The only thing going for it is the screen...other than that -- for a few pennies more you can get a new machine that will smoke the old PB.

But having said that...I'd love to have an older PB like this to complement my current gear -- spending six hours on a 12" screen writing papers is a Bad Thing for me.
