So, every Sunday I hitchhike over to this cafe to play piano and collect some tips. Yesterday, upon attempting to hitchhike out of town, no one was picking me up. No one. This has never happened before. I stood there waiting, for about 20 minutes, until it was 10 minutes LATER than I would normally Arrive at the cafe.

I decide to walk back into town. Shortly after I go back home.

Then, last night, I was talking to a friend of mine who works at the cafe, and she told me that there was a 16 year old jewish israeli girl that had been in there. Do you realize how rare that is for this island? It's never happened before in all the years that i've been here. And she wasn't just a 16 year old jewish israeli girl. She was a 16 year old jewish israeli girl who spoke hebrew, couldn't even speak english, had big brown eyes, a jewish nose, full lips, long curly dark brown hair, played the piano, improvised the same way I do, sang in hebrew, and had never had a boyfriend before in her life. My friend described her like this: "She had big brown eyes, and really nice eyebrows, and a bigger nose, but it fit her, and really pretty lips, they were really full, and olive skin, and perfect white teeth. Her smile was so cute."

Now, don't try and tell me that it's a coincidence that the first time EVER that a girl like this comes to this island, is the first time EVER that I don't get picked up hitchiking. God, or the universe, or energy, or whatever the hell you wanna call it, is playing a game with me. I don't understand why I was prevented from going and meeting her. I just don't get it. It's not like I repell jewish girls. In fact, they like me more than non-jewish girls, cause I'm more like them. I talk about jewish girls all the time, and about how much better they are than non-jews, and then this has to happen to me! Why?

Anyways, she's definitely my dream girl, even though i've never even seen her. The description was enough, together with the fact that she plays piano the same way I do, and has never had a boyfriend.

Anyways, this thread would be useless without a topic of speculation thrown in. My friend, who works at the cafe, talked to the girls mom for a while, and told me at what time they're leaving the island tomorrow. I called my math teacher and asked her if she can come in early tomorrow, so I can get out of there and catch the early ferry back to my island, and be at the landing at the time they should be leaving. I will intercept them, and introduce myself.

Anyone care to comment? Laughs and mocks are completely welcome too. Remember, this is one of MY threads!

So anyways... ...the other week I should have gone down the pub. But didn't, because I couldn't be arsed. And Adriana Lima was there! It's so unfair!

And guess what? She eats her cornflakes in exactly the same way that I do... ...with a spoon! Obviously a match made in heaven.

So anyways, I'm fair convinced she'll be at the pub next week. I'll get a team to go and intercept her, manhandle her into the back of a tranny van and keep her locked up in my basement until she's drugged enough to respond well to my introducing myself.

Check back in 10 years for photos of the kids.

You guys do realize that I Understand that this is just the way I feel right now, in the moment, and that i'll be over the "thought" of this girl, in like a week or so. But right now, i'm determined to find her, and talk to her, cause i'm REALLY mad that I was cheated out of being there.

Sorry for the wrong wording. What I meant was, I like jewish and middle eastern girls better than other girls. A personal preference.

It's kind of funny, but if she saw your personality she'd probably be more scared than a Krispy Kreme at a weight watchers convention.

...based on stereotypes.

How are you going to get anywhere if she doesn't speak English? She probably hasn't even seen The Secret Garden.

You have to realize that you have no way of knowing who I am from an online board in which I have PURPOSEFULLY created the image of myself in a way in which it is constantly made fun of. I think it actually goes "If YOU saw my personality, you'd suddenly realize who I really am".

Anyways, I don't like jewish girls more because of stereotypes. I just like them more.

Now now, your image is at least partly defined by your environment. The image of you online, despite an acting or lies, is still a reflection of who you are. It is obviously not complete due to the environment (anonymity primarily) but that doesn't mean it says any less about who you are.

On the same note: you have no idea who this girl is. Her physical specs fit a very vague guideline that appeals to you but what is that? Nothing. I mean come on.. you know how many girls fit the description you gave? You shouldn't go falling for every girl someone vaguely describes to you.

Hahaha. Yeah, that must be it.

So, you think there's "tons" of girls that fit the following criteria?:

1. 16 years old.
2. Jewish.
3. Israeli.
4. Speaks hebrew.
5. Improvises on the piano.
6. Big brown eyes.
7. Curly dark hair.

macgeek....

You have an idealized view of love and dating, a view that will only get you hurt in the long run. Ignorance may be bliss, but the longer you stay in it the more painful it will be when you finally get out.

Additionally, I hope you don't wear your heart on your sleeve in real life the way you do here in the 'nn. Sure, many chicks dig a guy who can be honest and occasionally expressive with his emotions, but lay it on to thick and in most cases its a huge turnoff. On top of that, you need to play your cards right... let out too much and you pass up opportunities to get certain pieces information. And information is really what dating is about (even before you're actually dating), imo.

I piece of advice: if you're first impulse reaction is "she's the girl of my dreams," then chances are, any sort of relationship is exactly that--a dream. Not because they're incompatible, but because you're not ready.

whoa whoa whoa waittaminute. you've never met your purported "dream girl" and you think it's fate that you DIDN'T get a ride to be there on time to meet her?

yeah, i'd say that's a bit of a stretch.

Come to think of it, dream girl is the correct term.

dream noun an unrealistic or self-deluding fantasy: maybe the beautiful Jewish girl would love a computer geek with no car—but he knew this was just a dream.

loki74, I completly understand why you see me that way, and I understand alot more than you think I do. I'm not stupid, I just like to have fun on there forums. I know about relationships and dating, and I DO NOT just say whatever's on my mind to girls I barely know. Also, nothing is gonna "hurt" me in the long run. I do know what I'm doing.

Maybe the non-jewish girls don't like you as much because you're constantly talking about how much better someone else is based solely on their religious beliefs rather than them as a person?

I'll withhold derogatory comments and simply hope to god not all Jewish believers are like you.
