Without vision and values business is business. With them, it's a noble cause.

That will depend on the DVD player.
Some cheap DVD player are only single zone capable with means only can play the local DVDs
However if you have the multi-zone DVD player (so much like multi-system VCRs), that will be fine
I have the multi-zone one....it costs more but I can play any kind of DVDs

The DVDs that you create with a superdrive aren't region encoded, so you can play them back on European players.
The only question here ought to be about PAL vs. NTSC. DVD discs neatly avoid this business, letting the player handle it.
Answer:
An iDVD-created DVD-R disc will play back anywhere in the world. Region encoding and other violations of consumers-rights are only done by MPAA/DVD-CCA production houses.

If this post is in the Lounge forum, it is likely to be my own opinion, and not representative of the position of MacNN.com.

Hey Victor...thanks for correcting me too
I was told by some rep about the "zone restriction" from iDVD or DVD SP.....now they told me the wrong thing
