So I keep getting crashes (just quits) when playing world of warcraft, here's what all the entries in console look like:

2004-11-11 02:27:54.723 World of Warcraft[3293] World of Warcraft launched
[Mac sys detect] ! error -1 reading hw.l3cachesize
[Mac sys detect] - DDR RAM
[Mac sys detect] - non dual proc, down to tier 2
[Mac sys detect] - sub 500MHz FSB, down to tier 2
[Mac sys detect] - under 768MB RAM, down to tier 2

Can't find that error message on google, anyone know what this is indicative of? Know how to fix it?

Thanks,

~BS

ps sorry for cross posting but had no response in other section for a few days.

just a wild guess, but that looks like status messages output as WoW tries to detect what level of graphics it can display.

What kind of system do you have? The error message may just be developer-speak for "level 3 cache doesn't exist on this machine."

PowerBook G4 1.25 Ghz...

That makes sense... I don't think this has l3 cache, I was really worried about a hardware problem.

Thanks,
~BS
