They were, in a word, enormous. Of course, she was a big girl (hence the 38–40 size, which might actually have been a 42 as well), so that’s part of it; but the fact that she was already having back problems at 21 should tell you something.

(And yes, that was a European K, not an American K. I neglected to glean that from Wikipedia. 85K/90K/95K = 38H/40H/42H, not 38K/40K/42K!)
