I ordered mine 3/23/03 with the ADC discount and it shipped yesterday!
I thought I would have to wait another month! I am curious if there are others out there who ordered before me or iHanhauser and are still waiting for theirs too ship...

ADC Student discount? Did you have to fax in your student proof?

I used ADC as well. It is always a good idea to fax in the student ID/class registration. You will find people who didn't have to, but believe me, you are far better off if you do send the required stuff (even before they ask for it).

I ordered my 400MHz Ti when it first came out with an ADC discount and here's what I found. To get the standard student discount you don't need to send in your student ID. You just give them your SSN, and they check with the University themselves. However, if you want to get the additional ADC discount, then you need to send a copy of your transcript showing that you are currently enrolled in a computer related course.

LoL, you guys make it so complicated!
There's only ONE ADC Student Discount, it's 20% off, there's no EXTRA discount for faxing anything in, period.
You don't hafta have your info. faxed in to go ahead and place your order, however, it may be suspended until your fax comes through, or you may get lucky and they'll just go ahead and process it.

This is killing me! ADC discounts are sweet, don't get me wrong. BUT, why is it that those who order on the 23RD are getting their machines already when they are so many of us others, no ADC purchases, who don't have our 17"? I just don't get it!

It's not just with ADC orders man, it's with all orders. People who ordered last week are getting them shipped while others that ordered on keynote day still wait. I'm convinced the shipping order is random.

This is getting rediculous. We all need to file a mass complaint with Apple.

Hehehe, congrats. Let us know if yours have some of the same common problems that most of us do, like the keyboard noise and such. Maybe cd thing too, because for this one, it seems like I'm the only one having this kind of cd getting stuck in the drive problem.
