I of course get software update notifications.

10.9.5 on an iMac

I dont take all the updates, but I dont know how to tell the update Bot that I dont want the

other so dont notify me of them any more

is there a way to do this ? I dont have remote access so dont want the update etc

Open the App Store, go to the Updates tab. Right-click on each update you don't want, and tell it to Ignore.

This is supposed to stop the nagging. Doesn't completely work for the latest OS version nagger, but mostly works otherwise.
