I'm running iTunes v4.7 and os 10.3.5. I open up iTunes and the cursor icon just spins away its rainbow colors. I've waited up until 2 minutes before I force quit the application. If I open it again (either from doc or applications folder) the same thing happens. If I try to restart the computer from the apple menu it doesn't restart, so I have to turn off the computer with the cpu on/off button and turn it back on that way. (I had this problem with 4.6 but it temporarily went away after installing 4.7. However, now it's back.)

After I turn the computer back on iTunes usually works fine until I turn off the computer. When I turn it back on the same problem occurs. After experiencing this problem for a while, I installed Macaroni that regualary does unix maintenance and permissions repairs but it hasn't relieved me of my problem.

I'm wondering if it is perhaps related to the Airport/Air Express network, since the problem with 4.7 started when I iTunes didn't recognize my Air Express/Stereo on the network. I reset AE and ever since the problem has been there.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob
