I wonder if iSync fully supports the S700/S710a without any plist edit work arounds?

Mods: Can the title be changed to something like "New phones supported by iSync in Tiger" and made sticky? If not, I'll start one on April 29th.

I don't know but that's what I had to do with my P910 to get syncing to work properly with Panther. All these phones are now listed as being supported by iSync, so I'm guessing they should Just Work.

6680 doesn't show on supported phones list. How do you know it's supported? What about 6630?

I need a new phone and I want smartphone with stereo MP3, so I'll get 6680

Yeah, 6630. That'll be a huge disappointment.

When you say the P910 is supported, do you mean via the cradle or bluetooth? I have had such aggravation with my P900 synching via bluetooth. Thanks.

P800/900 has only ever been supported by Bluetooth in OS X, though you can use the USB cradle with Virtual PC and the SE-supplied PC sync software. (I have done this to back up the phone, but it's really aggravating!)

With my P800, bluetooth syncing was never 100% perfect. But once the pairing was set up, firewall port open, etc., things generally worked fine. Haven't had my P910 long, it's syncing OK now with Panther - but took quite a bit of persuading, including hacking up an iSync .plist file (I got the tip from esato.com, I think).

I haven't used Tiger yet you understand, but the P800/900/910s are listed as supported phones on Apple's web site. Still bluetooth-only though.

My guess is that they've got SyncML support working, which means that the 6630 and 6680 are supported, as well as the US only 66xx series phones.

Pretty happy about this, since I just upgraded to a 6630 yesterday and didn't realise that it wasn't currently supported

My Motorola v551 is listed too. Let's hope it works without any problems.

I'm happy to see that the Motorola V600 is now going to be supported over Bluetooth... I can finally get rid of OnSync (with which I have never had very much luck).

This is no big surprise. It was posted on Apple's own discussion boards that they got help on supporting more phones in Tiger.

Do you know if this includes Address Book support, such as incoming call and text message services?

Fair point!

I only use Salling to control iTunes with my AirPort Express anyway!
