Hi,

Last nite I swapped my G4 dual 450mhz CPU for a dual 1.25 Ghz "windtunnel" CPU with a bad RAM module. I thought it was a good trade. I plug my Harman-Kardon Soundsticks into it and there's a noticeable humming noise. My old CPU never did that. This one has a headphone jack in the mirrored doors and that one, when plugged in, is even louder! Other than that the computer's fine. What could this be?

Thanks!

***more info***

The buzzing / humming noise DID NOT go away when I tried using an inline ground loop isolator. It comes out of the speaker out port, the headphone port, and even the speaker itself in the front of the computer! I think it's something internal. If it helps, my power supply is 360watts not 400watts. Please if someone has tackled this successfully I'd be grateful for your advice!
