Is there a special hard drive for macbook's motion sensor? Or does it work with any?

If I use hard drive with its own motion sensor, does it cancel itself out?

The motion sensor technology is on the logic board, not the hard drive. If there is motion sensing tech on a hard drive, I would presume that the machine would be able to communicate with it, but I believe Apple just uses their own tech for it.
