1. Is there a setting I can change so that when I switch from one application to InDesign I can start typing where I left off? I get irritated when I check data in Excel and then when I return to InDesign I have to click or reposition the cursor to continue typing where I left off.

2. How do I change my OSX or Acrobat settings so that Acrobat is the default pdf viewer?

Thanks,
Bob

#1 is an irritating thing for me as well. I routinely switch between InDesign and Word when entering copy. I hope they fix that soon.

I'd say that was a feature not a bug.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Also, Quarkboy, this bug is fixed in InDesign CS. Click on any app, then go back to InDesign and you can type away with no clicking. CS fixed nearly all of these little annoyances.

It didn't slow down the annoyance that my printers still don't like it
