Target Disk Mode
Make your Mac appear to be a hard drive on another system with just one click by using the Target Disk Mode option in the Startup Disk Preference panel.

So this means one can take their mm, set this target disk boot mode and without needing a keyboard to hold T (I think it is) to boot, and one's mm will act as a external harddrive correct?

Of course, you'll need a keyboard anyway to set this preference...

Of course, if you have a mouse and not a keyboard, you're one weird cookie.

What, you mean you don't enter all your text using the character palette?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

I got really excited about this, but it sounds like you'll still have to restart the Mac you want to use as a volume (just won't have to hit the T key). I was hoping that I could simply designate a Mac as a FireWire volume without rebooting.

Looks like I'll stick to IP Over Firewire, just hope that gets more stable...

I use my penis.

At least it keeps other people off my computer.

I'm thinking that giving two computers direct write access to the same hard drive at the same time would be not so good of an idea.

It's really tough when I can't hit any fewer than 4 keys at a time
