Hey, saw on macrumors that a copy of the supposed Tiger intro movie has been making its rounds on the net... however, I cant seem to get hold of a copy.

Anyone have it who wants to host it for a bit?

That's very nicely done, especially with the luminous/pulsating Aqua absent.



This would suggest that the master image has gone for duplication no?

It wouldn't suggest anything. 10.3 went through quite a few intro movies/music throughout the dev. This intro video is nothing new, and I'm kinda surprised over the fuss about it.

I like how it ends with "welcome" in Chinese before the big "X". But why is the video just black for 3/5ths of it?

And how do you capture the intro movie? Or did someone just rip it from the Tiger DVD?

The same reason the Panther and previous movies are "black" for 3/5ths of it: so music still plays through part of the setup process (choosing a username, pass, icon, etc.).

What i meant to imply, is that with the absence of leaked builds on the same scale as Panther, the leaking of this video might mean that builds are being sent where Apple has less control: e.g. CD factory.
