Enter the Giga Pavit, Son'ys answer to the iPod Mini.
You think the iPod Mini is expensive? The Giga Pavit will retail for about 35,000 Yen (around US$325), and will NOT work with Macs. Sigh! And we thought Apple had it bad. added.a_rolleyes.gif
Thing is, THIS was supposed to be Sony's low-cost, iPod killer? I can see it now...

It's also only USB 2.0, its larger, no AAC support, and looks uglier then the iPod (and iPod mini).

What about the AIEREO? It looks more interesting...
AIEREO PLAYER
It is only 1.5G HD, but it does have wi-fi. Only $299.

Looks like it's best suited for windows to me. Why can't they not just support WMA AND AAC? Oh well..

Agreed.
Nice, but not instantly legible.

Aireo is what the iPod mini should of been. I have no idea why Apple does not support airport in more of their products. Another lost innovation.
