Well, I don't own guns, nor am I a gun freak. But here is my take on it. Some people collect guns like they are works of art. They are eye candy to some men. Now, take that, AND hot women and put them together...
For example. I love seeing pictures of attractive females with guitars I like. It's eye candy.
That and both a guitar, and a gun are phallic in their own way...
So it messes with the subconscience I am sure.

I think has something to do with the super-heroine/action-heroine thing. In comic books you have big tittied (is that a word?) women with 22 inch waists dressed in spandex or bikinis kicking ass and carrying big guns. It ties into the fantasy of having a woman that is on one hand ultra-feminine but on the other hand can kill you if she wanted to. And action-heroines from movies are just a bite off of this look.
