Hi all,

I don't actually own an iMac (I have a powerbook, actually), but I am curious about the speed of the new Intels vs the G5's when running Java apps within web pages. I am pretty sure I have seen some type of benchmarking app or web page to get comparison info. Java seems to bring my powerbook to its knees sometimes, and I wondered if the Intel was any better.

Maybe the G5's are better than the G4 anyway, so this could be moot, but I was just wondering...

Thanks!

Java apps within another app can't run under Rosetta, so you'll have to wait for a Java runtime universal binary.
