Why wouldn't it work? I can control my iPhone using my fingers through a cleaning cloth I use on it.
This would be something I would carry with me and make people who want to play with my iPhone wear. Keep your nasty germs off of the thing I put up to my face several times a day!
On a side note, that dude has WAY too many unread emails. Damn!
