I know that Adobe Photoshop will likely appear on X around December time. Ill have to manage without it somehow maybe try some Corel apps.

Anyway, does anyone know when Macromedia Dreameaver is being released for X?

Cheers

Likewise, I thought InDesign and Illustrator are the first carbonized apps. Photoshop isn't until next year, unless you know something?

I personally don't care about dreamweaver, i hand code, but I would love Fireworks. Macromedia has been pretty quiet since Freehand came out. I'd like to see their timetable.

So far, my lite photoshop use hasn't uncovered any bugs in classic mode. Ok, so I always have to launch it twice for the menus to show up, but other wise, its worked well. Also I don't think it can use my second processor, I have it disabled anyway since I use a modem.

In fact, PS in classic is snappier than any OS X native app that I have. Thus, since PS on my configuration is quite stable, I'm drooling over other adobe porting efforts...

me too! thought i was the only one since no-one else has mentioned it. i think the case may be that if you launch photoshop when classic is running, it'll open fine but if you launch it when classic isn't running [so that classic has to launch first] photoshop will open without menus.

i always look on the bright side when this happens and use it as an exercise in remembering my photoshop keyboard shortcuts.

[god i hate f**kin smileys. why have i started using them?]

I read somewhere that photoshop would be coming out for X in December as that is the likely release date of 6.5. I know that it will only support X with the next product revision. Adobe are just trying to be effecient with their resources thats all.

Even though I dont have much problem with running classic, id always prefer to use a clean version without a chunk of RAM being sucked away.

Hey, I've got some inside info too! OS X 10.1 is coming out in September!

Sheesh, would everyone stop speculating about release dates when everyone knows just as much as anyone else?
