Since SS 2.0 is coming up some time in the future (hopefully sooner rather than later) I'm wondering what themes people want to see updated.

I'd really like to see GuiPod and GargageBand updated. App skins and any new features SS 2.0 will have would be awesome.

Would the SSv1 themes continue to work in SSv2 ?
Will SSv2 have a completely different structure that will force all themers to update all their themes ?
Can a SSv1 theme be imported to run in SSv2, then later be expanded using the new possibilities of SSv2 ?

IIRC, Smeger said there wouldn't be any upgrade pricing yet, but would certainly for future updates.

Yes, No, Yes.

And yes, roosta, ShapeShifter 2.0 is a free upgrade for registered users. Future updates will not necessarily be free, but 2.0 is a freebie.

For the record, I will be focusing on adding complete appskins to my current offerrings before the completion and release of Label'Os. I am hoping to have all of them complete by the end of Nov. Some will take longer than others because they will be seeing overall refinements and enhancements too.

I kind of feel like I'm at a party except I wasnt invited.

What I mean is, how can everyone know what themes they want updated when most(?) of us don't know what all the new features of SS will be?

Or am I the only one whos in the dark?

To dislike Sinatra is a sign of highly questionable taste. To dislike the Beatles is a serious character flaw.

no you're not. most of us don't know what features will be in SS 2.0. We're just hoping i guess.

I expect Siro, Guipod and Aqua extreme/Smooth Stripe to be updated. I hope full iTunes and Quicktime skins to work in SS 2.0. please smeger?

I'd be rather worried if you lot didn't, after 5 weeks of hard work.

And the SS1.x -> SS2.0 upgrade is free, according to Smeger.

I'm looking forward to seeing particularly what Max Rudberg does with the new features..

a cleaned up In Motion with visible lists might be nice.

i'd add good grey, but i can't think of any way to really improve it. maybe some skins for itunes, firefox and quicktime.

will the shapeshifter upgrade be compatible with os 10.4? the current one didn't want to play nice with the first two releases of 10.4.

If by some act of God text colors can have greater modification, then JetBlack would be my first choice. Shame with the lack of skins and usability problems. I though the theme was great.

One theme I'd love to see updated for SS2.0 is the QNX theme. The titlebar widgets on the current version don't render correctly with SS.

I'm considering an update to QNX, I think I may try to rework it but we'll see if I have time or not.
