Can anyone shed some light on what could cause preference settings to simply vanish ??? Recently, for example, my preference settings for the application MPlayer which enable MPlayer to remember the movie playlists that I have created simply disappeared. I mean one day I ways using the app and I had my playlist set up as usual then the next day, I open up the app and where there was once a playlist of several movie titles, there is blank space. My personal keychain has also been tripping. What could cause these types of preference file vanishings ??? Corrupt fonts ??? A optimizing/maintenance utility appplication ??? Please advise. Thanks.
