My Ivory G3 iBook is beginning to look a bit weathered and I am wondering if it is possible to reskin it. I have seen some bitchen colored skins available for the new MacBooks but are there any for the iBook??? Is there something, some sort of protective covering I can put over the area where my palms rest??? Those areas are particularly weathered looking. Any creative ideas people??? Thanks.
Peace out . . .

Follow the iFixit guide to get the plastics out. Remove all electronics (or mask them VERY well) and use meths and wire wool to take the paint off the inside of the bottom case and display rear housing. Then take them to your local auto paint shop. Make sure to tell them to paint the inside. More tips on macmod.com I would think.
