hi all. i was wondering if i can put 4gb of ram into my black macbook, 2ghz core duo (the first macbook rev), which is running leopard.

on amazon, i found a 4gb ram kit for $20 more than the 2gb kit. will my macbook support 4gb or is it limited to 2gb? thanks!

Nope. We Rev. A-ers are limited to 2GB of RAM because of the chipset.

This question is covered in the very first post of the sticky thread on MB RAM upgrades.
