Hi all,

I would like to find out whether control strip allows all programs to be placed on it ?? Errr... What I meant was, is it all kinds of programs can be placed on the control strip ??

Was asking this question because, I wanted to place the application "SimpleText" on the control strip.

Can anyone answer my question and at the same time tell me how to put "SimpleText" onto the control strip if it is possible.

Thank you all !!!

The control strip is more for utilities and not for launching apps.
It is normally better to costimize your Apple Menu for app launching but you can do whatever you like I guess.

I found it handy to create a folder with an alias for each app I want in it, then make it a spring-loaded folder and just put it in the bottom right corner (opposite the control strip). With this, I can drag a file over the pop-up and then over an alias to launch it if I need to, or just pop it open and double click the alias which makes the folder automatically pop back down. I've found that to be the most versitile way to do it.

I have "Strip Launch" although I don't remember where I got it from. It is kinda like Open With CMM. You can add an alias from anything, app, document, crl pnl. It works good for me!
