Preview seems to scroll very slowly in one PDF I have, it's strange because this file is 1.3 mb but a 13 mb pdf I have scrolls very smoothly. Is this likely to be the pdf's fault? Being badly made or something, or is my Preview corrupted somehow?

Sounds like the PDF is funky. I've seen Preview be real slow dealing with PDFs that are forms you can fill out. I don't think it can handle those; try it in Acrobat Reader.

I've actually deleted Acrobat, maybe I should download it again, although this is the first problem I've come across while using dozens of pdfs. I found turning off continuous scrolling made a slight difference.

I make sure to keep Acrobat Reader around because I've come across PDFs that just didn't work in Preview. I long for the day when I don't have to, though.

That will be the day you install Tiger, with it's enhanced PDF capabilities.

Yeah, here's hoping. But then Preview already is a very good app, very powerful really with its various export options and whatnot.
