What in the world is it with disturbed people walking into a joint and randomly shooting people?

Even worse is when it is a bunch of teenagers. Why the hell does this seem to happen every week in the US? Should you be shooting the evil terrorists that are killing US citizens?

Slight mishaps with folks going off their heads whilst carrying guns are the price of freedom.

The US has more freedom than Canada and most of Europe? Have you been watching too many Oprah specials?

The funny thing is of course you now have less freedoms and privacy than you did 10 years ago but you still think it is worth a few dead schoolchildren.

But please explain how these "free children" lead to them shooting one another.

Yes, we do have more freedom in the United States, at least currently. (All bets are off if Hitllary wins.) You probably don't realize the amount of economic freedom you give up for Canadian social welfare spending. And as for Western Europe, aside from its oppressive economic policies, have you seen the news about the growth of Big Brother there?

Yep. The Labour government took our guns off us in 1998 and now has CCTV cameras all over the place. They even snoop in our trash.

We've lost rights and don't want to keep loosing more?

Yeah, hobos who work for the council, have little peaked caps and clipboards.
Read the comments for an amusing five minutes.

Too bad, looks like the overall plan would, ahem... eliminate my idea of leaving a big steaming pile of surprise for them.

And THAT is why you got 14 year olds shooting each other? To you that is worth a grown man walking into a school and executing kids one by one?

I don't see how those things connect at all.

They're reporting it was one of the few schools without metal detectors - there's your problem.

Also, many of the students weren't wearing body armour, so they only have themselves to blame. Guns don't kill people - lack of metal detectors and body armour kills people.

Funny how taxation for health care can go unnoticed, ain't it?

Until you need prenatal care and your socialist system can't handle it. Then American comes to the rescue.

I'm in Australia, mate. So now I get to say:

"You call that a healthcare system?!"

Now, back to small men with big guns...

Dont' let minor facts get in the way. People have a need to feed at the trough of sensationalism, so they have something to talk about at the water cooler.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?
