I recently installed iTools onto my PM 5500/250 with OS 9, and it didn't work - it let me sigh up, but whenever I went to log in it gave the message "there are several reasons why your computer is ont set up for iTools..." and owuldn't let me log in. I tried useing explorer 5 and netscape 4.72, and nothing.
I just got a G4 and I was wondering if there was any way to enter my old account information on it so I can access the account I signed up for on the 5500.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cipher,
Do you have file sharing turned on? You need to to get iTools to work...
that was my bugger, I had a mac.com name and everything but I couldn't use any of the tools until I turned fs on.
hope this helps.
peace,
Linda

Try deleting the cookies that mac.com places on your computer--and then make sure you accept them the next time around. (Make sure your browser is not set to reject all cookies). Also, the iTools installer only installs the iTools plugin for the default browser (selected in the Internet control panel). If you don't use this one, it won't work.
