Hey all,
As my post title shows, iTunes on Windows is really annoying me. Does anyone else find it really unresponsive? I'm talking about things such as :
When I drag the volume slighter up or down it won't actually respond for 2-3 seconds, when I maximize iTunes from the taskbar it won't do it for about 3 seconds also, and my biggest gripe - when I burn a cd the system slows down to a crawl (doesn't happen when using Nero or Adaptec)
It's not my system either (2600+ and 512 mb of ram) and I've tried it on my brother's system for a little while and seemed the same, although I havn't burnt a CD on there yet.

I have actually found it to be slightly more responsive than the Mac version here.
Mac:
Dual 1GHZ G4
512MB RAM
PC
Pentium 4 2.8
1GB RAM
*puts on flame-retardant suit*

The Windows version annoys you because you are using Windows! Duh!

I do use the mac version, when I'm on my mac.
I use my PC for anything that requires power, as my 12 inch PB doesn't deliver it, and I have my PC hooked up to my main hi fi system, so therefore i use Windows iTunes.
Sometimes 'use a mac' can't be the solution for a windows problem.....

Does anyone find Microsoft Office on the Mac slow and unresponsive? It's really annoying me.
