according to the mac help center, "to transfer files between two computers that are not on a network, you can temporarily connect them using an ethernet crossover cable (which creates a two-node network), then use file sharing to move the files." I would like to do this with my b/w G3 and my powerbook G3 pismo, but if someone could give me more details on how to set this up i would be grateful. Also if anyone knows whether this cable can be bought at compusa, and if not, then where? thanks for the help.
