Safari 1.3.2

I go into Safari Preferences and try to change the font style and nothing happens when I close the window; the font's stay the same. Help?

1.3.2? How old is that?

Fonts on a web page may override browser preferences. Does this happen on all web pages?

Visit www.macintouch.com to see a site that uses the browser's default fonts.

Most other sites (this one included) make their own font settings, which override the browser defaults.

Yes sir it does on all web pages with Safari and Omni-Web, but has no effect on Mozilla Camino 1.5.5

I wanted to use Safari because Camino doesn't have a size 22 font selection; it skips from 18 to 24.

Safari 1.3.2 is ancient. Have you tried a newer version?

That's the latest version I can run with 10.3.9

When the economy picks up, I'll get one of those new MacBooks.
