Hypothetical:

If your girlfriend/boyfriend were to ask you "How many people have you had sex with?", would you feel that in order to answer that question you would have to include both the people you had had sexual intercourse with and the people you had had oral sex with (both given and received)?

Definitely not, IMHO.

No it doesn't. When a girl asks you how many other girls you've had sex with do you give her the number of girls who have gone down on you or the number of ones you've stuck it into? Everyone I have ever come across wanted the latter statistic because they felt it was of more significant importance. The stigma associated with BJs is almost nothing compared to vaginal sex. You wouldn't want your wife to be the oral sex champion because of the infidelity not because of stigma.

For me, if someone asked, I would answer no to both of those, hence I would say I don't consider it sex. I think the simple answer to the main question is, it depends on who you ask, as we all have different opinions. I respect yours, can you not respect mine?

To me, society defines sex as sexual intercourse, vaginal or anal only, that is what a quick poll of 5 people has just revealed to me. So do we go by societies definition, my definition (which is a little different), or someone else's definition?

Yes.

I guess that shows which side of the proverbial fence I'm standing on in this question. I consider oral sex to be sex. I consider any physical sexual activity/contact involving touching/sucking/rubbing/penetrating/being penetrated of/by genitals or other sexually sensitive body parts between two or more persons, and which may lead to orgasms by one or more party involved, to be sex.

Thus, I don't consider jacking off to be sex, since it's not between two or more people; nor do I consider phone sex to be sex (though I'm not sure what I do consider it to be, besides weird and boring), since it doesn't involve any physical contact; nor do I consider ‘accidentally’ brushing your hands over someone else's crotch/breasts/ass in a crowd to be sex, since it's not really sexual contact.

But oral sex, yes; it's physical contact between one person's genitals and another person's (or other persons', if you like it crowded) mouth(s), it involves touching/sucking/etc. of genitals, and if done properly and carried on long enough, it will almost certainly lead to an orgasm by at least one party involved.

its all sex, but being a virgin dosent mean no sexual activity, being a virgin means no sexual intercourse, as in tab "A" into slot "B" or "C". Sucking on the tab "A", rubbing tab "A" stroking tab "A" is sexual contact but not Sexual Intercourse.
