This is my first attempt at a theme, so this one is somewhat self indulgent. I wanted a theme that wasn't plastic or metal or glossy, something flat and simple. It is inspired by one of my favorite games "Rez". I realize it won't appeal to most of you but here's preview. The actual theme looks much better on a black background.

This image is a mockup, but the theme is roughly 30% complete at this point. I don't have a name yet but I'm considering "Burning Retina", any thought or suggestions are welcome.

Well, with a full black background, we're back in Amber time...
Perhaps that's why I might suggest you could take it even further. I once had an idea to replace buttons by text, and your mockup somehow made me remember.

BTW, I've quickly used Vibrocentric as font, which IMHO comes close.

what about naming it "Guirth" ? i combined the words 'GUI' and 'Birth' cause your theme reminds me of the old days when GUI had just been invented.

cheerz.

Thanks for the input and suggestions. As for the color variations are there any colors in particular that you'd like to see? Also I like TERMINAL for the name, or maybe Tandy, remember those?

YES! open your Terminal and go to Terminal>Window Settings>Color>Green on black.

I would KILL for a theme with those colors, and I think yours would look especiallly good. If I was a UNIX buff/hacker I would never change my theme if it looked like that.

White on black might look good. As for the name, what about:

Vector
Rezonance

The theme is coming along nicely, but I need some help from other themers. Is there a way to change the background color of the search field in the finder and safari?
