I heard it in a stellar mix, and I've downloaded it. I dig it, I just don't know what it's all about.
wiki says (about the album with the same name):
Eye in the Sky - 1982
Concept: Surveillance, with the album title inspired by the Eye in the sky cameras used in casinos. Also explores Life and the Universe, but some insist the album is about "forgotten and lost values". Album contains their most famous single, "Eye in the Sky," the ballad "Old and Wise", and their best-known instrumental, "Sirius." The album also features the song "Silence and I," a sweeping epic song that runs for more than seven minutes and features a whole symphonic orchestra, with brass playing the melody in many parts, and a central section featuring highly virtousic xylophone playing.
I dig it

let's discuss only the song, and not the intro to it that is used to introduce a professional basketball team. we can also discuss the fact that I'm on my way to a bachelorette party and that I might take some pictures.

Also posting the lyrics might facilitate the "song meaning" discussion:
Don't think sorry's easily said
Don't try turning tables instead
You've taken lots of Chances before
But I'm not gonna give anymore
Don't ask me
That's how it goes
Cause part of me knows what you're thinkin'
Don't say words you're gonna regret
Don't let the fire rush to your head
I've heard the accusation before
And I ain't gonna take any more
Believe me
The sun in your Eyes
Made some of the lies worth believing
Chorus:
I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
I am the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don't need to see any more
To know that
I can read your mind, I can read your mind
Don't leave false illusions behind
Don't Cry cause I ain't changing my mind
So find another fool like before
Cause I ain't gonna live anymore believing
Some of the lies while all of the Signs are deceiving
From my understanding it's about a failing relationship, and the ability to read the other persons true feelings (and lies) as being compared to surveillance.

Thanks for the link, IceEnclosure.
When I opened it, I saw the "Don't Answer Me" video on the side and it brought back a lot of memories. I don't think I would have ever looked for Alan Parson' videos on youtube.

Mixed by Low-B, Philadelphia. He's extra badass.
he made it as a christmas type mix for chillaxin with friends and body-warming drinks. it's an hour long and there's only uh, two christmas songs. everything else is just awesome.
