Why has Safari started searching in a strange language?

Safari seems to be using 'Google - Greece' or some such. How can I get back?

1. This is not a question about Mac OS.
2. Google's language is set within the google website, not the browser.

In Safari, check prefs, apperance tab...check to see what fonts you have selected and what the default encoding is set to. In system preferences panel , international pane , check that english is the top choice.
