Temporary freeze when connecting Nano

	Hi My iPod frightens me when I connect it to my machine (Dual 2G) by freezing and displaying the battery icon with a single bar. It is as if it starts to charge but freezes. It isn't recognised by my machine. It doesn't happen every time, but often. It seems that some charge is happening, because my solution is to wait a moment, unlug it, switch it on, then reconnect while it is on. Does anyone else experience this kind of thing?
