I have a wacom tablet Bamboo One cte-460/k and I was looking for a driver for El capitan OS X10.11.4. I thought I found one on the folowing link (Driver for ... Bamboo Fun (CTE), ...). :

https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/...support-detail

I downloded the driver and installed it on my macbook pro, but when I go to system preference and click on the wacom icon, I get the following message : Version mismatch. Please reinstall the tablet software.

Is Bamboo ONE not supported on El capitan ?

CTE or CTH? If CTH, there's a driver. If CTE, then I think you're out of luck.

I have the same problem with a MTE 450A. Have written them, but no response. Why should some of us 'be out of luck'? It's just a matter of updating the damn drivers to work with El Capitan.

It's not always that simple to just update the drivers, unfortunately. If Wacom chooses to not make El Cap drivers for the tablet (and its been a long time since the OS release at this point), then its not going to work properly.

I'm not saying this is a good thing, mind you. Some devices always get left behind as the OS advances.

I think it's also fair that after a certain point, devices are no longer actively supported. For instance, upgrading to 10.10 or 10.11 my wife's ~13 year-old Wacom tablet stopped working because Wacom no longer supplied updated drivers. But it was wonky anyway and well-worn. I think she got more than her money's worth. (Now she has a 12.9" iPad Pro, so she doesn't need a Wacom tablet any longer.)
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
