Hi,
I'm a Mac Newbie (but Pretty good with windows xp) and need some advices for essential quick keys.
I'm currently using a Macbook Pro and was wondering what the quick keys are out there that I SHOULD KNOW!
Any advice will help THX!!!
BTW, is there any quicker ways to show the previous page and the next page on safari?
Since I am using the MacBook Pro TouchPad mouse to manually "click" on the back and forward arrow, there must be some quicker way. Please help!!!

Look through the menus.
The keyboard shortcuts are listed right next to the commands.
Also, look through the keyboard panel of the System Preferences (Apple menu) for the global shortcuts.
You can also assign your own custom commands to any and all applications in that preference pane.

Try the MacHelp. There is a list of shortcuts.
Many of the shortcuts are similar to Windows. Instead of strg+c, Apple+c copies, Apple+A, Apple+V, etc.

FYI: "strg" is "Alt" on English keyboards.

F9 = show all windows
F10 = show current app's windows
F11 = show Desktop
F12 = show Dashboard
Command-ctrl-D = look up word underneath the mouse in Dictionary
Command-option-esc = force-quit the current application, kind of like Ctrl-Alt-Delete on Windows
All apps (except Microsoft):
Command-Left Arrow = skip to beginning of paragraph
Command-Right Arrow = skip to end of paragraph
Cocoa apps only:
The above commands, plus:
Control-A = skip to beginning of paragraph
Control-E = skip to end of paragraph
Microsoft apps:
Home = skip to beginning of paragraph
End = skip to end of paragraph
Also, you can go to System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts to see a lot of the standard shortcuts (and change their keys if you so desire).

THX for the great tips guys.
Is there anything else I should know about the TouchPad on my MacBook Pro?
For example I know if I use two of my fingers and make a vertical motion on the touchpad it will scroll down (Horizontal scroll as well).
Is there any other kool input like that I should know about? Once again sory for being too much of a newbie

fn-up or down arrow will scroll a page at a time rather than a line at a time in your browser.
fn will convert the keyboard into a number pad when pressed in conjunction with 7, 8, 9, 0, u, i, o, p, j, k, l, ;, m, ., /
option-keypresses and option-shift-keypresses will insert special characters (activate the Keyboard Viewer in System Preferences>International>Input Menu - which is the little flag icon in the menubar - and open it to see which ones).
If you have turned it on in System Preferences>Universal Access, command option + will zoom the display and com opt - will invert the zoom.
Last but not least - command-F5 will activate VoiceOver, which scares the crap out of many people because they have no idea why black boxes start appearing all over the screen and menu items start getting duplicated...

No . "Strg" is shorthand for "Steuerung", which means "Control" - "Ctrl".
"Alt" is just "Alt".
FYI.
So most key commands that are a combination with "Ctrl" on Windows - Ctrl-Z, Ctrl-X, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, etc., are equivalent to combinations with the Apple key on the Mac - Apple-Z, Apple-X, etc.
Also, Alt-Tab to switch programs is Apple-Tab here.
