Go to CoDFiles.com

Most maps are PC & Mac compatible. They will just be zipped folders with a PK3 file in them, which you place in your "main" folder in your CoD folder.

If you come across one that uses a PC EXE installer, just let me know, and I'll convert it for ya.

Also, check out www.Macologist.org, we have all sorts of mods and maps that have already been converted for the Mac.

The iMac Man, I have a question. I am running 10.3.9, have COD UO 1.5.1 and when I join certain servers that have maps or mods, some of them download and others do not. It doesn't come up and say that it is not downloadable. It goes to the download screen, but the download never starts. Have you ever had this happen?
Thanks for any help!

Hmm, that I haven't seen.

1.5.1 has some downloading bugs, so it could be that.

There is a new 1.5.1c patch out (330mb!).... try that and see if it helps. If not, I would have to assume it's some sort of issue with the server.

Get the update at MacGameFiles.com

1.5.1c fixed the problem with downloading files from a server, and also fixed some SP issues with stock CoD.

Otherwise, it's just a full 1.51 update that should work with any prior version of CoD. The previous 1.51 patches required you already had all previous patches.

I also have that problem - a lot of modded servers will not load mod on my g5 - could it be my firewall - also I tried downloading custom maps, however I tried saving them in my main folder, however it still tried to download them???
