Even after installing v1.1.2, Repairing Permissions & Restarting, when launching WTP, I continue to get the alert: " A new version of Wire Tap Pro is available... click OK to download it."

Are others experiencing this, or is it just me?

And, how does WTP even (wrongly) know I have an "old" version? Is it calling home?

It is calling home, as many applications do this. You could get little snitch if you want though and end that.

Not sure about the message you receive though, but I am interested as I use WireTap Pro.

There is an option that accompanies the alert to: "Don't remind me again" or words to that effect.

While I am not interested in getting Little Snitch, I do wonder if disabling the alert disables the call home, or merely the notification that the call was made.

Perhaps Mr. Welch will stop by and provide the definitive answers.

FWIW, I have no operational issues/problems with WTP and the few times I have used it, it worked as designed.

When I now launch WTP, the Alert (noted above) is no longer displayed. Apparently, when WTP calls home, the home server has been updated such that it now recognizes/knows that indeed I do have the most current version.
