I thought it could be a good Idea if we had a list of the must have GUI Apps and perhaps maybe a moderator could make it a sticky so new members (and old) can easily find the apps etc...

I will start the list and if people could add links in here I will continue to edit this post to keep it upto date and then maybe like I said it will eventually become a sticky and help people find products and save repeated questions.

You dont have too no... Im not here to tell you what to do I just asked for a little bit of help as was busy at the time.

I think it is hard coded so really can't be changed

I read at applefritter a while back that the startup chime sound byte is in the firmware (FYI, you can listen to every startup chime every Apple computer has ever had with the application Mactracker)
