OK, I and my grilfriend have mbps. I have a 2ghz model and she has a 1.83ghz. When I put them side by side with white desktop backgrounds, the 2ghz model white seems to be yellowish compared to 1.83 mbp. But the 2ghz seems to be brighter. I still like the clear white. The same is with black. Black seems to be grey compared to 1.83 model.
Is there anything I can do to improve my screen colors? Calibration didn't help.
I wouldn't even notice this if I didn't put them side by side. I use them both every day, but today was the first time I used them at the same time and the colors are different.

My first 1.83 had an LCD that was darker at the bottom and on the upper right side, resulting in brownish whites. I saw some new 2ghz today and they seemed to have white whites, as does my second 1.83. Apple uses Chimei and Samsung displays so I suspect it has to do with that. Just another example of inconsistent quality and quality control.

I don't have dark corners. This is why I never noticed it. It looks fine to me right now. It's only when I put it next to my girlfriend's mbp I notice that it isn't as white as on hers.
