I imported a 15 minute movie clip from a Cybershot camera to burn to several DVDs, when I import the movie (.mpeg) there is no sound, it is not muted, I simply imported it and dragged it to the timeline. How can I get the sound back? I have already tried changing the format to .mov, but that doesn't play at all.

The bottom line is you'll have to first convert the videos to another format before you can import the video. I'll do a quick search, as I forget the name of the one I use.

Streamclip...that's the one I use. Convert your files to mpg 2, .mov, etc format and then import them into imovie. You'll have audio bliss!
