I need to wipe a stock drive from a G5, it came with Tiger, but had upgraded to leopard. Is there a way upgrade to leopard again, without using an additional license after reinstalling tiger on the same drive?

huh?
I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Basically if you purchased Leopard (not the family pack) you can only install it on one computer. I don't think it matters if you install it on a different hard drive on the same computer.

If you're looking to install it on another computer, then that's a no-no.

There's no formal license code system in OS X like there is in Windows; one copy will install as many times as you want it to.
